HITS Workshop Information

HITS offers the finest professional quality training in the performing arts for children and teens.

Musical Theatre Workshops

  • Broadway Basics is for kids in grades 1 through 3.
  • Broadway Kids is for kids in grades 4 through 6.
  • Broadway Teens is for teens in grades 7 through 12.
  • Broadway Home-schoolers is for home-schooled kids of all ages.

Classes include singing, dance, acting, and auditioning skills in a rehearsal-based curriculum. All students participate in a fully-staged musical production onstage at HITS at the conclusion of the session. Costumes and scenery are created by theatre professionals. The show is staged and choreographed by a professional director/choreographer. The students are the stars!

CREATIVE DRAMATICS

A special class for children ages 4 – 6. The students discuss well-known children’s stories and act them out using simple costumes and props – while learning basic acting techniques. This class does not include a production.
